Lucas Ringhofer | Owner, Senior Stylist and Master Colorist
and his staff are taking Jungle Red into the next generation with his recent purchase of this Castro Classic.
Lucas started his career in hairdressing while assisting behind the scene at fashion shows and editorial photo shoots. With a distinctive eye, always searching for a new perspective towards coloring, Lucas has elevated his passion for his craft by becoming a certified Master Colorist with the Goldwell Professional Academy. Eighteen years in the business, eight years as a Bumble and Bumble Network Educator, and a plethora of advanced education, Lucas delivers creative excellence every time.

Andrea Cwynar | Master Stylist and Educator, Specializing in Cutting
took an interest in visual arts at a very early age. In 1991 she began an extensive apprenticeship with a group of formally trained Sassoon based stylists. This led her on a path to various Vidal Sassoon Academies in the US and UK mastering the art of precision haircutting. Two years after becoming a stylist at Jungle Red, she and Scott Mishina took the plunge, and became owners. Together, they formed an amazing partnership, and put into place a culture that would surpass their original expectations of ownership. After seventeen years of ownership, Andrea decided to pass on the torch to a new Young owner, Lucas Ringhofer.
As a seasoned stylist offering a range in expertise, she believes in consistent dedication, education and inspiration, and continues to work side by side with her associates, daily, to create only the highest standard of haircare available.

Jennifer Torres | Senior Stylist & Color Specialist
is a San Francisco native and always a passionate person, with obsessions ranging from wine and food, to culture, fashion, and art... her creative insights and her love of beauty and transformation led Jennifer to pursue the art of hair. "In hairstyling, creativity is the driving force, and then structure and geometry become the tools you use to design your vision. Doing hair is a skill, but there is an art and intellect behind it."
After completing her cosmetology course at the SF Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, Jennifer began two years of advanced training in cutting and color. She has dedicated five years to Jungle Red and is now a Senior Stylist, Hair Color Specialist and Network Educator for Bumble and Bumble. She makes it a priority to attend advanced education classes yearly; Vidal Sassoon Academy, Bumble and Bumble University and Pony Salon her favorite places to learn. Jennifer believes the art of hair is a constant evolution, and she is ready to continue searching for inspiration in the people, city and world around her.

Amy Sherill | Senior Stylist
Joined our team at Jungle Red in May of 2014 as an apprentice after graduating with honors from Paul Mitchell Academy of Hair. Her passion for hair is apparent as she continuously finds new ways of incorporating current trends with her own personal creative touch. Perfectly put, she explains " Each head of hair has its own story, and I know its my calling to fine tune the rhythm in each one ."
Upon completion of her advanced training program in cutting and coloring, she attended the world renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy to perfect her technical skills. She is now a senior stylist with Jungle Red and along with her salon services, she also has experience in photos shoots, fashions shows, production hair and make-up as well as bridal services.

Trevor Hlawtschek | Stylist & Barber
In the seven years that Trevor has been with Jungle Red, we have watched his career path continue to evolve. Starting with us as a graduate of the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology in 2017, he successfully completed our advanced training program. This foundation led him to some of the best schools in the industry; Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy as well as Goldwell Color Academy. With his love for education, Trevor found himself leaning towards teaching and giving back to “up and coming” students. This took him back to the community of SFEC where he is now a Hair Cutting Specialist and Educator in cosmetology.
While in the salon, his specialities include precision haircutting for both short and long hair, as well as color and color correction.He is especially interested in thinking outside of the box when it comes to color; using more natural pigments such as henna for gray coverage.
We are happy to have Trevor in the salon when he is available, and excited to see where his career will take him next!

Stefano Tarricone (He/Him) | Barber-Stylist & Colorist
Stefano is no stranger to the creative world of good food and beauty. Having six family members in the hair industry, his skills started to form at a very young age. However, Stefano wanted to explore his Italian heritage first. By embracing his cultural knowledge of fine cuisine he became a chef in Italy for several years. Italy filled Stefano’s well with inspiration for creating. He knew that his cultural experience, creative knowledge and plethora of skills were the right recipe for being a great stylist. Once back in San Francisco he made his way to Joseph Cozza Salon where he spent sixteen years building his technical skills. It was during these years that he knew he had found his true passion.

Nicole Santos (She/Her) | Stylist
Nicole joined the Jungle Red team in March of 2022 after graduating from San Francisco Institute of Esthetics. For the last year she has been a part of our apprenticeship program learning advanced cutting and coloring techniques. With her love of learning and creating, she has aspirations of specializing in color and, eventually attending The Goldwell Color Academy Master Colorist Program. She has always been a creative spirit with interests in crafts such as crocheting, sewing and jewelry making. Her eye for detail is key, and she is well on her way to becoming an expert in the hair industry. Currently she is one step closer to becoming a full time stylist and is available to take color appointments. We encourage you to give her a try!
