Set in a 1939 Manhattan milieu of idle socialites and gossip, the movie
“The Women” , houses a fantasy of a woman-only world of glamour and
idle pleasures.
Ahead of their time, actresses Norma Shearer, and Joan Crawford’s savoir
faire is apparent, as they rest their laurels at Sydney’s beauty parlor,
